13th Street Cottage

This project was a complete gut and remodel. After the place was cleaned out, CraftHaus discovered uneven floors due to tree roots, that had pushed from below the foundation.

The door from living room to kitchen was removed and a large opening was built in its space with a generous breakfast bar that acts like a semi room separator. Opening up the space gives the 750 square foot cottage an entirely different vibe and breathing room. Part of the vintage steel and enamel cast iron kitchen cabinetry was saved and matched with additional cabinetry form IKEA. Throughout the place IKEA shelving units created additional storage.
